Appearance
of Christ
Since the time in Biblical history that mankind couldn't
accept God
for the way He really was, they started to create
likenesses in idols that they
could relate to and began creating religions without
the One True God in
mind. Rom.
1:21-25 When the other religions began.
Even today, the world still tries to get the likeness
of Christ to
conform to the way of what man expects Him to be like.
Ps. 96:5 For all gods of the nations are idols
[e.g. American bald eagle].
The so called Experts have tried to re-create the likeness
of Christ to
something much less appealing; like a peasant bum.
Some critics even
shoot down ancient painting depictions of Christ, appearing white
and
sets out to proof that Christ was black. But
oh, how we still try
to make Him in our image and not accept the way He really is.
Jer. 1:16 Worshiped Gods of their own creation.
Anyone who reads the Bible, knows that Jesus was born into
the human race as a Jew. The only dark complexioned
Jews
certainly weren't black. Blacks were never Jew, but
came from
a particular tribe, that was indicated somewhere in the
story of
Moses. If Jesus was actually black, that distinction
would of
been made in the Scriptures. What is overlooked is
Jesus
appearing to being whiter than those around Him, is to
indicate
of how He must of stood out in a crowd by His radiant
presence,
other than the glow around His head to show his perfect
innocence or
being divine.
Another wrong idea, starting to float around, is that Jesus
had
short hair. The Shroud of Turin and a few
other real photos of
Christ taken all show that He had long hair. This
thing of Jesus
having worn His hair short, is actually Him being corrupted
into
the image of the anti-Christ.
This lie, of Christ having
short hair, is implanted into society as
an evil means so everyone will be convinced that the Anti-Christ
is Christ.
Ancient Biblical society had different measurement drawn on
the
short hair of man and the long hair of the women. Mens
hair
were either cut to shoulder length, or braided in the back
[as seen in The Shroud of Turin] to appear shoulder
length
short. Women's long hair didn't just grow down to the
waist, but
clear down to their feet. Modern Society derived its
traditional length
of hair for a man and woman, from ancient Roman empire.
The Romans dress style & appearance, God didn't approve
of.
Most of what they did seem to be in total defiance of what God
expected. For
their open defiance and
waging war
against all who'd live righteously before the Lord, they
were defeated
badly by the Lord's sudden wrath. Which was more than
a thousand years
ago.
Even Samson wore his hair long, so as to get his strength
from the
Lord.
So many Christians wrongly think the color purple, is the
royalty
color of Christ. In Revelations, at Christ's coming He
is depicted
as wearing red. The purple concept is also of the
Anti-christ.
When
Christ Arrives
So many are misled into believing that Christ will return in
the flesh.
Other Scriptures in the Bible, especially Revelation, warns
against
False Christs coming up in the world. Matt. 24:24 shall arise
false Christs. Some of these, False Christs now exist.
False Christs are persons who claim to be, despite they were
named
something else.
It is wrong and
a blamphemous sin, when parents
give such a sacred name of Jesus
or Jesus Christ to a
child. Because it's
suggesting that man is equal to God, or as a god. It sets the
world up to be
deceived by those
who really aren't the one and only Christ. After
all, Jesus
wasn't just an ordinary person among us. Nor was he an old
wiseman
and or ancient philosopher. He was then and still is today and
forevermore
the son of God.
The Bible also indicates that Christ will be coming in the
clouds, not
get born again into the world, as a mortal flesh being.
So much ignorance in the wrong concepts of the Word stem from
totally believing on others words and not doing the homework
themself, in reading, studying and mediatating on the Word.
